Norwegian-developed SMP from Adite
Otheo is a Norwegian-developed SMP (SaaS Management Platform) from Adite's broad specialist community. The solution will provide Norwegian and eventually global organisations with enormous savings.
Since the start in 2014, Adite, as an independent advisor, has delivered significant savings to Norwegian organisations. Adite combines market insight, negotiation expertise and proprietary technology to provide medium and large enterprises with better deals and lower costs within IT, telecoms, licences and cloud services.
Adite has decades of combined experience from the IT and telecom industry and has seen great potential in being able to easily achieve insight, optimisation and automation of licence management. It was therefore decided in 2022 to start work on building the Adite Intel platform for Adite's customers. After a long period of testing and use among selected customers, further investment was made in the construction of a larger SMP, well equipped to handle Nordic and European premises.
The result was Otheo, which was launched in autumn 2025.
The name Otheo is inspired by the Greek verb ὠθέω (otheo), which means "to push" or "to propel". The two o's on either side also symbolise the eyes that see "everything" and keep an overview for our customers. Together, it perfectly describes what the platform does - it drives businesses forward through automated insight, optimisation and cost control.
Adite's goal is for Otheo to enter the global market. Solugate, Arisona Holding, Keller Invest, Jr Bergen Holding and Jørn Hope Invest are among those behind the company. Adite also has the department OSMB, which offers value creation through sales work and booking of customer meetings.
